TALKS
Following up last years talks and panels by those evil crackers and computer legends isn’t going to be easy. But don’t worry. You will not be disappointed. Nuff said.
In previous years we’ve had Chris Hülsbeck, Dave Haynie, Mahoney, Bacchus, Andreas Tadic, Conqueror, K12, Peter Sunde, and many more.
COMPOS
We’re hearing rumours about some pretty massive releases this year. So quit your job and polish those releases!
➜ Music compos are on Friday
➜ All other compos are on Saturday
➜ At least one of the authors must be present at the party
➜ Remote entries are not allowed, but…
If you are entering the music compo but are unable to attend on Friday you can e-mail us your entry. If you don’t show up on Saturday though, we will disqualify your entry and send the music to DATAHELL.
We might merge compos if there are not enough entries, and split the compos if there are more than enough. If you’re releasing on an exotic hardware, you are responsible that it will be played correctly. See COMPO MACHINERY below.

TRAVEL
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Getting around in Gothenburg, it’s convenient to use vasttrafik se or their iOS and Android apps.
BY AIRPLANE
From Landvetter Airport get on the airport bus and hop off at the Nils Ericson terminal (end of the line). Go west to the bus/tram-stop Nordstan and take bus 16 towards Eketrägatan (heading north, towards the bridge). Exit at the fourth stop, Lindholmen.
BY BOAT
If you’re traveling from Denmark or Germany, you can usually get a good price on the ferries. Prices and schedules can be found on the Stena Line home pages in Germany or Denmark.
Arriving by boat from Denmark
Walk along the road right outside the terminal towards the city for about 10 minutes. Sooner or later you’ll end up where the ferry Älvsnabben stops. Take the right ferry (pick the wrong one for some 40 mins Gothenburg harbor sight-seeing) to Lindholmen. Follow the map to the party place (5 min walk). If you arrive late in the evening the ferries won’t be available. If that is the case, just walk over the bridge that is connected to the terminal to the other side of the big road where you will find a tram stop. Take line 3, 9 or 11 to “Brunnsparken”. Walk to the bus/tram-stop Nordstan and take bus 16 towards Eketrägatan. Exit at the fourth stop, Lindholmen.
Arriving by boat from Germany
When you come out from the terminal, take the road going to the right and walk down to the water. You’ll spot the Älvsnabben ferry stop quite easy. Take the ferry (there is just one ferry going from this stop) to Lindholmen. Follow the map to the party place (5 min walk). If you arrive late at night or don’t like ferries for whatever reason, just follow the signs to Chapmans Torg from the terminal and take tram 3, 9 or 11 to “Brunnsparken”. Walk to the bus/tram-stop Nordstan and take bus 16 towards Eketrägatan. Exit at the fourth stop, Lindholmen.
BY BUS
If you’re traveling by bus, you arrive at the Nils Ericsson bus terminal. Walk to the train station (it’s in the same building) and follow the directions below.
BY TRAIN
After arriving at the Centralstationen train station, exit to the west. Go to the bus/tram-stop Nordstan and take bus 16 towards Eketrägatan (heading north, towards the bridge). Exit at the fourth stop, Lindholmen.
BY CAR
You’ll be driving on E6. Take exit 76, towards Norra Älvstranden. Note that it goes parallel with the E6 for a few hundred meters, inside a concrete barrier. Once you’re off the E6, keep left and follow the signs to N Älvstranden. Take a left to Lindholmen and head down Karlavagnsgatan. DATASTORM is in the small yellow buildings with red roofs, towards the end of the street.
BY CAB
Just tell the driver to take you to “Karlavagnsgatan on Lindholmen”. If the driver don’t know where that is just say “tramstop Lindholmen” and walk the remaining 100 metres from there (check the map). Uber is also available.

If you cannot handle heavy data noise and smell during nights you may enjoy the DATASTORM discounted rooms at Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel which provides all the luxury you can imagine.
